Research Fellow
- Part of a team working with an international commercial partner, researching into the subjective perception of spatial audio in automotive environments.
- Acquire acoustical measurements in the vehicle cabin using a range of instruments, including but not limited to: KU100, Eigenmike, using custom acquisition scripts developed in Python.
- Develop and conduct in-situ listening tests in a physical vehicle using Max/MSP for both the real-time audio processing and the listening test interface.
- Develop and evaluate new metrics to estimate the subjective perception of spatial attributes in a vehicle, using Python.
